Michael Horst born March 30 1852 in New Franklin Wisconsin died November 29 1934 at 10 30 am in Osceola Nebraska aged 2 years seven months and 29 days He moved to Polk County Nebraska in 1871 with his parents and lived on farms near Osceola He married Emma Houser January 1 1880 and had eight children Survived by wife Emma three brothers Frank Albert Henry and sister Mrs B F Engelhardt Thirteen grandchildren one great grandchild and many relatives Funeral at Osceola Methodist Church conducted by Rev Moreey and Rev Wright with interment at Ovenla Cemetery

The Osceola Women's Club met at the sofort house Monday. Red Cross drive netted 56.75, with 28 paid to the county chairman and the rest to the Red Cross treasurer. The year favors study of international relations led by Mrs. Henry Zang in January. Mrs. W. O. Fudge reviewed Dr. Trudeau's life and work and seal sale activities. students from local schools participated in plays and readings. The Music Department rehearsed after the meeting. LiteratureDept met later with lessons on unemployment insurance and a book review by Mrs. Kepner.

Osceola Man Bud Anderson Injured in Bridge Crash
Clement Bud Anderson of Osceola suffered critical injuries when his car crashed through the south side of the Davis Creek bridge on Highway 81 west of the city. He crawled to seek help, two passing cars ignored him, and he was hospitalized in Stremsburg before being moved by ambulance to Omaha. He sustained severe cuts and pelvic fractures and is reported to be improving.

Thanksgiving Week Social Amid Family Visits
