Polk County Fair Opens With Record Exhibits and Pageant
The fifty fifth annual Polk County fair began Tuesday attracting large crowds as exhibits surpass previous years despite fears of drought. The pageant on wedding costumes drew a full amphitheatre while the midway expands and the Miz program promises a three day run. postmaster announces migratory bird hunting stamps available at Osceola, valid July 1 to June 30, price one dollar.
