The August 1915 to 1955 Looking Back column notes the local handicap tennis title won by Marian Shaw over H. J. Tex, the First National Bank building getting a paint coat, and the death of John F. Bausch in 1915. It also recalls 1925 weddings, treks for schooling, and a 1945-1955 roll of local civic updates including fire damage, church activity, and a 1955 marriage license report.
