Farm Housing Regs Change Eases Loans for Small-Output Farms
A new eligibility rule allows farmers who produce at least 400 dollars yearly from farm commodities for sale or home use to qualify for Farm Housing loans. Existing requirements remain, including lack of credit elsewhere, US citizenship, and adequate income. Applications are accepted at the Farmers Home Administration county office in David City or at the Osceola Courthouse on the first and third Wednesdays.

Norman T. Hofbauer an aviation machinist’s mate third class USN from Osceola Nebraska took part in a joint Canadian American anti submarine warfare exercise from July 21 to August 3 off the West Coast. Two American groups led by carriers joined six Royal Canadian destroyer escorts and support ships with air units from Whidbey Island Alameda and North Island to train anti submarine forces and perfect related techniques.
