Polk County Budget Adopted and Claims Approved
The Polk County Commissioners on August 16 1949 adopted the annual budget for July 1 1949 to June 30 1950 and audited claims with warrants issued. They granted an irrigation culvert agreement between Sections 20 and 21 in Town 14 Range 2 and reviewed insurance policies OC 35632 and OC 151261 for county buildings and courthouse. Sadie J Jarmin was granted permission to place a clock on the front of the Osceola courthouse with permanent installation at no county cost and a plaque to be provided by Jarmin.
