Use of Rose Hips in Gardening and Cooking
Rose hips from varieties like Sweetbrier Rugosa and Dog Rose provide vitamin C and ornamental value. Avoid forming hips on hybrid teas and do not use hips from sprayed bushes. Recipes include Rose Hip Jelly using tart apples and Rose Hip Soup with almonds and wine for a festive, fragrant finish.
