Amy Zimmerman daughter of Mr and Mrs Neal Zimmerman of Lincoln married Dennis Tomasevicz Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Rev Anthony Trausch presided over a double ring ceremony with candelabra decorations and mint green accents. The bride wore a duchess satin gown with mint green lace and a long veil, accompanied by bridesmaids and maids of honor in mint green and pastel accents. Reception followed at the Shelby Legion Club with gifts tending and guests from Lincoln, Ephrata, Cedar Rapids, and Stratton. The newlyweds will live in Shelby. she teaches at Osceola and he works for Andreasen Implement.

Osceola Softball Season Ends With Tourney Run
Osceola girls finished their season except for a trio of tournaments in Waco this week. They opened against Waco, then lost to Polk and Gresham as Team 2 posted 17-7 and 15-5 scores. Brenda Peterson and Jean Soukup pitched in all games and All-Star selections included Peg gy Watts Amy Johnson Brenda Peterson Nancy Asche Kim Boden. Deb bie Asche Margie Lux each went 2 for 3 in the Polk game while All-Star calls honored Vicki Kucera Teresa Campbell Margie Lux Debbie Asche Denise Dunn. Coach Wright praised the team for its late improvements as two Team 2 players joined Team 3 to field a Polk game. If Osceola had won the Tuesday tourney they would have played Wednesday and Thursday, but postponed games from the regular season will not be rescheduled.
