The County Womens Chorus met at Mrs Joe Schotts home Monday. September meeting will be at Mrs August Fischers home. The Rebekah Kensington will meet at Edna and Fannie McCrays home Thursday Aug 10 one week early due to county fair.
Robert Fischer starts his senior year at the Alexian Brothers Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis after a vacation with family in Torrington Wyoming and Denver Colorado. Numerous relatives and guests visited the Sigler homes this past week including families from Rhode Island Nebraska and Lincoln.
Tillman Joy home welcomed Mr and Mrs Paul Joy and daughter of Rock Island NL, Mr and Mrs Milo Cochrane of Omaha, and Mr and Mrs Frank Joy in a family gathering.
Mr and Mrs Roger Gustafson Polk announce the birth of a seven pound daughter on Monday August 9. The daughter of Mr and Mrs Floyd Bond Gresham underwent an appendectomy on Monday. Dismissals from the hospital Wednesday include Mrs Joe Cuba Silver Creek and Pete Nelson. Baby Jackie Merrill Silver Creek is a medical patient this week.
