An affidavit from Sunbury Pennsylvania by Charles H. Weisel sworn August 10 1894 attests that after walking with crutches to Melick's drug store he bought Cham berlain's Pain Balm for inflammatory rheumatism and after using three bottles was completely cured. It notes a sale price of 50 cents per bottle by EE.

In winter 1893 F M Martin of Long Beach West Va suffered a severe cold with a lingering cough. He praises Chamberlain's Cough Remedy saying it gave instant relief and led to a complete cure after trying several other syrups. The advertisement promotes its 25 and 50 cent bottles sold by EE Kennard & Co.
