Nearly 800 Scouts from Sunrise district units in Seward York Polk Butler Fillmore and part of Saline counties prepare for a Saturday show at the National Guard Armory. Exhibits cover cooking astronomy and more with a Pinewood Derby cars race on a 30 foot track and a live burro in the Cordova display. Tickets are on sale this week as crowds are expected to exceed five thousand.

Funeral services were held at Lett funeral home Wednesday at 2 pm Rev Sam Hoffer officiated with burial at Woyuka cemetery. He lived in Nebraska City 12 years and in the area since 1918. Longtime Polk County Resident Henry Herrmann Dies
Henry G. Herrmann 83 of Atascado California died in Los Angeles on April 24 1960 and was buried in Atascado California. Survivors include daughter Muriel Mrs Roy Gilstrap and grandson David Gilstrap of Atascado. He and his wife cared for and educated orphan children. He resided on the farm north of Osceola now occupied by Arthur Nelson and was brother of W J Herrmann and brother in law of Mrs Adam Herrmann of this city.
