Polk County Commissioners Audit Claims And Appoint Sheriff
Osceola Nebraska April 4 1950 county board met in regular session with 11 members present. Claims were audited and warrants drawn for the county funds including General Fund and Bridge Fund with various payees and amounts. A resolution directed the county judge to pay unclaimed fees into the General Fund and a Farmers Mutual Hail policy covering road maintenance equipment was filed. April 6 1950 meeting adjourned. Willard Cornell appointed sheriff to succeed Gunnard Peterson.
