A spring wedding unites Miss Joanna Schenck and Samuel A. Byers at Congregational Church Red Cloud on Monday April 7. Rev. Wm Wilson officiated at 7 PM with family friends in attendance. The reception followed in the church basement with orchid and yellow decor. Mrs Byers is a Ward Belmont College graduate and Lincoln dance instructor. Mr Byers, Osceola High 1943 graduate, served overseas in the Army Air Corps and attends Nebraska University. The couple will reside in Lincoln. Also reported, George Kidder former local resident died March 30 in Loveland Colorado. funeral in Bird City Kansas with burial beside his son Lee. Survivors include Mrs Kidder and four daughters plus one son.

Osceola Boy Hurt In Vehicle Collision Near School

Methodist Junior Choir Impresses Large Easter Audience
A capacity crowd at the Methodist Church welcomed a 35-voice Junior Choir in its first Easter cantata. Directed by Mrs. R. O. Peterson, the group wore white robes and drew support from the church's Young Adult Group. The choir will continue as an established organization with weekly practice for 5th and 6th grades and Saturday sessions for the first four grades led by Mrs. Peterson and Mrs. Howard Herbes.
