Walden held a large Home Week celebration drawing hundreds of excursionists from nearby towns. Despite crowds, no disturbances occurred as Ontarios and visiting companies paraded through town and attended banquets. A fountain dedication at Fountain Square and speeches by local officials marked the main events.
Five offenders were scheduled for Monday morning, but one was released on a $5 deposit. Little Dan Davis appeared, while Thomas Ashley received a suspended 60 day sentence.
