Liberty police seek stolen horse and buggy in reward notice

Riley fully recovers after horseback accident in Central Valley
Miex Etel ka Riley, seriously injured when thrown from a horse about a month ago in Central Valley, has fully recovered. She was riding yesterday and shows no ill effects. She is the granddaughter of F. F. Proctor, the New York theatrical manager with a summer home nearby. John Larter Killed at Goshen in Erie Crossing Tragedy
Goshen correspondent reports engineer John Larter was fatally struck at the Erie street crossing on the Montgomery Branch while walking to Campbell Hall. The Erie train 1308 reportedly hit him, with the engineer sighting the victim too late. Larter, 44, born July 1865 in Newchurch Brig, had lived in Port Jervis since 1896, married to Betsy Withacon of Newburgh, leaving a 16-year-old daughter Gertrude and three brothers. He belonged to Highland Lodge in Newburgh and the Port Jervis B of L. E.
