Policeman Ernest A. Miller of the Tuxedo force died February 16 in a New York hospital after an operation. He would have marked 12 years on the force April 1. Born November 17, 1884, at Greenfield, he was son of Elias and Evelyn Miller and left a wife and three children Eleanor Ralph and Norman. He had one sister and three brothers and belonged to the Masonic Lodge at Tuxedo Wallkill Council Jr O U A M Middletown and Tall Cedars of Ramapo.

Cornwall Martin Cowton of Hunmanby Yorkshire born 1846 died in Cornwall after a brief illness. He came to Cornwall 12 years ago and worked for the Cornwall National Bank.
