Marcell Besson of Howells won $975 in Goshen Supreme Court against Mrs. Angelo M. Stephny of New York in a breach of warranty suit. Ostrom a 23 year old Middletown graduate of Middletown High School and Gettysburg College sails for Nagoya Japan to work as an English advisor to native middle school instructors on the Y M C A program. He leaves Middletown March 19 aboard the Empress of Russia for Nagoya beginning April 1. Ostrom formerly lived with his mother Charlotte W. Ostrom at 79 Monhagen Avenue and will travel from Middletown by train to Vancouver before the voyage. He is a noted former athlete and writer who edited college and fraternity papers and earned honors in drama and poetry at Gettysburg. He is joined in Nagoya by classmate William T. Biddison of Frazer, Pa.
