Tamworth shipment marks first Ontario to British Isles export in 25 years
On June 14 Mr. T. J. Brownridge B shipped two pure bred Tamworth sows and one Tamworth boar to the British Isles. This is the first Tamworth export from Ontario to the British Isles in 25 years. Previous shipments include cattle to Stiivalley Park Stroudsburg Pennsylvan ia and other pigs to Harvey Barrie Bowmanville Gordon Gilchrist Beaverton R. W. Pheipe Orillia Rady Wagler Baden Delos Stebbins Grand Bend and James Stark Georgetown. Brownridge sits as a director of the Bequesing Agricultural Society.

At a recent meeting, Mr. W. A. Wilson received the first life membership of the Esquesing Agricultural Society. The honor comes as the society nears its centennial. Wilson previously served as secretary for over 25 years, with Oscar Lerch Frank Petch and Garfield L. McGilvray succeeding him as secretaries.

Mr Reid suffers eye injury after a spring strike while repairing his car and is at General Hospital Toronto awaiting possible sight restoration.
