Esquesing Township Council Meets on Gravel Deals and Revisions
Esquesing Township Council held a special May 4 meeting approving Wallace Makey Construction Co. tender for 10,000 yards of gravel and authorizing bond sales reinvestment. A May 6 session approved a gravel pit purchase from Mrs. Violet Mummery with fence adjustments and extra gravel terms. The Court of Revision approved several assessments and ordered corrections certified for 1944 rolls. Regular meeting discussed Farm Commandos grants and approved road and relief payments and by laws banning rubbish dumping and restraining animal trespass.
