Chicago dispatch reports a policy committee of 90 and international presidents of striking railway shop crafts adjourned after an all day session to resume talks on the strike situation. B M Jewell said a proposition has been offered for consideration and would be made public after the final session.
Governor McKelvie could place bricks made in Nebraska nearly a century ago in the new capitol. A sample brick arrived from Calhoun, formerly Fort Atkinson, sent by W. H. Wood. The fort founded by General Atkinson in 1819 produced 17,000 bricks. the yard remains visible west of the village park.
Geneva reports that former Greek premier M. Venizelos, visiting St Morite with his family, plans to travel to Paris probably on Tuesday. He will meet friends in Paris to discuss Athens affairs, and associates see the trip as sign he may be recalled to power in Greece.
The Omaha conference retires Rev. J. D. M. Buckner prompting his congregation to denounce the action and urge the conference to place him back on the ministers roll. Buckner says he favors a formal trial but refused voluntary retirement, expressing loyalty to the Methodist church and his Aurora supporters.

Crete Nebraska Sept 11 Charles Albert Hill a Nebraska pioneer died Sunday afternoon at his Crete home after a long illness. He came to Nebraska in 1877 and lived in Crete for 45 years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday.
