Miss MIntosh Hosts Younger Set on Christmas Night

Miss Carolyn McIntosh entertained the younger set at her Main Street home on Christmas night with bridge and dancing. The yuletide theme appeared in decorations and the refreshments included punch and an ice course.

Mr and Mrs George Sandlin entertained Friday night with four tables of bridge in honor of Mr and Mrs George Moore. High score and guest prize went to Mrs George Moore while low score prize was drawn by Mrs Hart Taylor. Woman's Club Meeting to Feature Welfare Program

The Woman's Club will meet Friday afternoon in the Sandlin building to feature the welfare program. Other business will be discussed. Members are urged to attend and bring money for Christmas seals and market post cards. George Allison and E. A. Allison of Pickens South Carolina were visitors in Old Fort last week.

Miss Genevieve Crawford and many others spend holidays with families in Tallahassee Raleigh Greensboro Marion Asheville and Narrows while university students and instructors visit kin across North Carolina and Virginia.
