Miss Eunice McCallian daughter of Mr and Mrs R J McCallian North Grove street and Walter Long of Terre Haute were married at Efingham Illinois last Wednesday at three o'clock. Miss McCallian a 1921 Odon High School graduate taught in public schools and worked at Odon Drug Co. Ms Long with Model Ice Cream Co Terre Haute. The couple left for California to reside.

Shake named pastor as Evansville session ends
The Methodist Episcopal Conference closed its Evansville session and announced pastor assignments in the Vincennes district. Rev. E. F. Mrs Mary Hayes Dies in Vincennes Hospital
The body of Mrs. Mary Hayes wife of W B Hayes died Friday at Good Samaritan hospital Vincennes where she underwent an operation. She lived on the Godwin farm Knox county and was fifty six. Survived by four daughters two sons a brother Jake Dillion of Washington and her husband who is brother of Mrs Noah Webster of Washington. Funeral services were held at the M E church in this city Sunday at 11 Rev Elza Lewis in charge Burial was at Walnut Hill.

Mrs Earl Byrer Dies at Home Five Miles South
Mrs Earl Byrer died at her home five miles south of the city from tuberculosis. She was born October 10, 1906 and was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Cornelius Resler of the area. Funeral services were held at the M E church in Raglesville with Rev E F Shake officiating and she was buried in Raglesville Cemetery.

Thimble Club Social Brings Members Together at Home

Mrs Ward Injured in Auto Crash West of City
Mrs Homer Ward sustained a broken arm in an auto accident on the Odon Elnora road. The Ford driven by Mr Ward ran off a five foot ditch and overturned while a child was moved between seats. She was taken to Washington hospital for X rays and is recovering, having recently returned from Indianapolis.

Woman Breaks Wrist in Fall Near Scotland

Akin Funeral Largely Attended in Dugger
Funeral services for Clyde Aikin, who died in Dugger, were held at his family home with Rev Marshall Reynolds officiating.
