Garnett Brown Williams daughter of Mr and Mrs D O Williams died at home in Minturn Arkansas last Thursday She was born in Otton March 7 1907 and lived in Odon before moving to Minturn in 1910 She died at six years six months and four days The funeral was held at home by Rev E A Horn and burial in Minturn cemetery.

Injured worker pulled from shaft at Neeremer Lumber Co
Tom Jolliff narrowly escaped death when his clothing caught on a line shaft in the Neeremer Lumber Co plant. Nugent former county auditor and ex president of the auditor s association of the state charged with embezzlement and defacing public records were continued by agreement of prosecutors and Nugent’s attorney.
