A Wonderful Automaton Exhibited in London in 1770

In 1770 an extraordinary automaton was shown at Exeter Exchange London. It depicted a county home with parks and gardens, including over 100 life like human figures performing tasks. Deer and four horses moved naturally on the grounds as a coach traveled a winding road.
