Miss waary Eeiapeth SVR SLE married Rev. Eayd Jones at Central Christian Church in Terre Haute Indiana. The couple, daughter of Mr and Mrs ALU Lops and son of Mr and Mrs David Tishe of Vandalia Missouri, vows were exchanged before many friends. the bride is praised as popular and thrifty, the groom described as energetic and promising. The ceremony was followed by warm wishes from a large circle of relatives and friends.

Fieldercht Atic Tuberculosis Victim Dies At 32 In Oden

Vieter Boyd of west Elnora street died last Tuesday from tuberculosis after suffering the disease for years. Born in the city August 18 188? he was 32 and had lived in a village after leaving here a decade ago. An expert musician who organized an Chicago orchestra he married Ella Kelly of Chicago on September 1 1908. Survived by his wife and one brother Jesper of this city. He belonged to the Christian church. Funeral services were held yesterday at 2 30 pm at the Christian church with Rev. Chas Coleman officiating. Burial in Walnut Hill cemetery.

Registrars Named For Odon Military Registration

Death of Mrs Jemima Baird noted in local obituary

Mrs Jemima Baird longtime resident of this city died at her North Spring Street home last Wednesday from general debility and arteriosclerosis. Born September 22 1636 in St Claire County Illinois she married W H Baird and had six children four surviving. Burial was at Walnut Hill after a 10 o clock funeral service led by Rev J W Trowbridge. The article also outlines conscription registration procedures and penalties in Daviess County with named precinct registrars and the governor's upcoming registration date.

Trustee McCarter completed the census of Madison township showing 394 school age children this year, up from 382 last year. City enumeration is separate and not yet compiled, with city figures not included in this report.

Twelve Graduates at Epsom High School Commencement

The Epsom High School held its annual commencement in the school auditorium last Wednesday night. Dr. Geo W Grose president of DePauw University gave the graduation address. The class numbered twelve and Stotts orchestra provided the musical program.

Miss Julia Odonald a popular young city woman married Roscoe Bowman of Dayton Ohio last Tuesday. Justice of the Peace J C Sheley officiated at Washington. The bride, daughter of O W Odonald, will reside in Dayton with her husband after the ceremony.

DIES AT TERRE HAUTE LOCAL WOMAN S Susan Pugh

Mrs Susan Pugh formerly of this vicinity died at the home of her daughter Mrs Bertha Van Winkle in Terre Haute Sunday morning. She was about seventy and died of general debility. The body was brought home Monday and funeral services were held at the M E church in Epsom with Rev S J Shake in charge. Burial was in Tolliver chapel cemetery. She was three times married and survived by two sons John Clayton Canton Illinois Theodore Clayton Muldoon Missouri and daughters Mrs Grace Levett Epsein Mrs Bertha Van Winkle Terre Haute and Mrs Maggie Cooke Seymour.

Word comes that J. C. Flint of the Flint Kyle Telephone Company is rapidly convalescing after an operation this week at a hospital in Moorsville. He hopes to return home in a few days if no complications arise.

Amish farmer dies after accidental gunshot during mushroom hunt

John H. Richer, 27, of Van Buren township, was accidentally shot by companion Jacob Vickey while mushroom hunting. The twenty two caliber rifle discharged as he tried to climb a fence, the bullet injuring his abdomen. He died at a B&O station before reaching Olney Illinois for surgery. Coroner Poin Dexter ruled the death accidental. Burial followed at Stoll Cemetery.

Nine Graduates at Elnora High School Hold Commencement

The Elnora High School awarded diplomas to nine graduates in a ceremony at the M. E. church last Wednesday. Frank E. Jaynes gave the address with the theme The White Way. The baccalaureate sermon was by Rev. Spencer the previous Sunday at the M. E. church. The Elnora orchestra provided music.
