Hotel Changes Hands In West Odon Deal

William Cummings traded his West Odon residence for the Grard Hotel and Lester Cummings exchanged his home for the Royal Theatre building connected to the hotel. William Cummings assumed hotel management immediately while Mr Stalcup moved to his new property this week. The arrangement was brokered by Reason Bennett.

Farris Reappointed Eureka High School Superintendent

O R Farris, former community resident now back from Fort Scott Kansas, has been unanimously re-elected superintendent of Eureka high schools for a two year term. The Eureka Board of Education met Monday night and praised his untiring work and the strong school program he has built. The city of Eureka has about 3000 residents and more than 200 high school students.

Shoals Woman Dead After Pneumonia

Mrs. Sarah Kennedy, seventy three, of Shoals, died at her daughter Mrs. F E Gilkison's home from pneumonia. Widow of James W. Kennedy formerly superintendent of the Ohio and Mississippi railroad.
