John Eads of Elmore, a mile south of Elnora, fell while loading hay when a rope broke, breaking his arm. Three of his family are sick with typhoid fever, Bessie among the seriously ill. Prohibitionists held a large Elnora county convention nominating a full slate, with delegates named and plans set for the May Indianapolis state convention. The Opera House crowd heard Prof F W Lough speak. no drunkenness reported.

Mechanic Hurt In Tractor Accident On Weekend
Earnest Sommers son of O P Sommers sustained serious injuries Saturday after a wagon wheel passed over his head and knocked him loose from the wagon. Police and witnesses described the accident as a dangerous fall with the wagon wheel striking nearby.

E. I. Pays Damages After Beasley Suit
A. M. Beasley of Linton was ejected from an E. and I. train between Newberry and Elliston and forced to walk to Elnora. He proved with witnesses the ticket from Elliston to Elnora and sued. The company’s attorney compromised with Beasley for 400.
