Fox Hunters Set Octon Meet amid预计 Large Fox Hunt Gathering

The Southern Indiana Fox Hunters Association plans a six day event October 15 to 21 at Odeon with Ed Keck as president. Directors from Dugger Plainville Bedford Patricksburg and other towns approved premiums entertainment and advertising with the Chamber of Commerce aiding. The October gathering aims to surpass prior crowds as tents exceed two hundred and attendees from across Indiana and nearby states are expected.

Daylight Hold Up Nets Instructors For $2500 Institute

A bank in Edwardsport Indiana was robbed last Monday afternoon with $2500 in currency stolen by two men in a Ford coupe. The cashier A P Rich was alone during the theft as the robbers entered, threatened him with revolvers, and fled toward Freelandsville road. Insurance fully covered the loss. Also reported a blast on a Reo truck near Bridgeport Illinois killed Charles Townsend, blowing him to pieces. Townsend was transporting nitroglycerin to Lawrenceville, wrecking the bridge and scattering body parts. County Superintendent James E Gilley announced a strong slate of instructors for the Daviess County Teachers Institute in Washington August 27 to 31, including Robert Allen Armstrong, Frank Waller Allen, and Grover W Sims.

Odon Boy Heads for Nome with Alaska Prospectors

Ermil Bowman, once linked to this town, sails from Pier 36 on the schooner Fred J Wood with workers and adventurers for Eldorado Development Co in a bid to mine gold near Nome Alaska. The voyage to Nome is expected to take 20 to 40 days with a return by late October.
