Mrs Laura Iraland formerly of this city died at her Indianapolis home on June 20 following an appendicitis operation. She was 26, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Harrison Browning, married to Jesse Iraland of Indianapolis. Survived by daughter Ellen, brother Denver of Indianapolis, and sisters Mrs Opha Smith Wash ington and Mrs Ruby McCafferty Loogootee. Funeral today at 10 at M E church. Burial Walnut Hill cemetery.

John O'Dell, 78, of this city, fell from a ladder while trimming a cherry limb in his yard. He suffered body bruises and strains to the shoulder and right leg. Medical help was provided and he is recovering as rapidly as could be expected.
