Clifford Asdell, 18, of between Odon and Scotland, dies at home from a brain blood clot. He injury happened seven years earlier when hit in the eye during a bill game. Survived by parents Mr. and Mrs. David Asdell and four siblings. Funeral at Presbyterian church Scotland at 10 AM with Rev. C. H. Buchanan conducting. Burial in Scotland Cemetery.

Boy Scout Suffered Broken Collar Bone in Street Play

Yeggs Blow Safe In Plainville General Store
Yeggmen broke into the A. L. Standiford general store in Plainville early Sunday, drilling a hole in the safe door and using an explosive. They carried off tarpaulins from the Littell hardware store but left cash and most valuables untouched, with the explosion heard at 2:15 am. Sheriff C. D. Former Odón Girl Weds Former Odón Girl in Indy Doctor
Miss Josephine Lucas formerly of this city and Dr. Johnson of Indianapolis wed yesterday at four o'clock. The ceremony was at the bride's sister Mrs. Den Garten home, performed by Rev. Buchannan. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Y. Lucas of Linton, worked as a nurse at Deaconess Hospital in Indianapolis where she met the doctor. Johnson is a Indiana Medical College graduate and formerly interned at Deaconess. They depart today for a Kentucky honeymoon.
