Drug Store Sold at Sheriff’s Sale in Washington
The Owl Drug Store operated by Wm. A. Wallace in Washington was sold at sheriff’s sale Monday afternoon for 3894 dollars. G. D. Mc Williams Emanuel Gates and Charles Keith purchased the property after two suits on notes filed against Wallace last month. The notes to Gates and Keith and to McWilliams and McPerson were secured by a mortgage on the drug store. Wallace’s failure to pay led to foreclosure.
