The Southern Indiana introduced a new time card last Sunday with south bound departures from Odon at 7 26 p m 12 59 p m 5 20 p m and Torphy s train at 8 20 p m North bound trains leave at 7 000 a m 9 21 p m 1 59 p m and 8 00 p m The schedule mirrors the previous one and proves satisfactory.

Dailey Loses Pay Claim After Supreme Court Ruling

The supreme court affirmed Judge Hastings in Daviess circuit court ruling that County Assessor Dailey was not entitled to pay for serving on the boards of review and that he owes the county 78 percent of an overpayment from the prior two years. The case arose after Dailey was denied by the commissioners for services as a board member.

Joseph Gimlin an epileptic at Emanuel Hummerickhouse two and a half miles southwest of here swung a hoe at John Hummerickhouse and ripped the hat rim. Gimlin was taken to the poor farm Friday morning. G W Henderson the school board treasurer found several youths in the High School room playing cards and disturbing Sabbath harmony. The board weighs prosecution as they face fines.
