Stivers of Trinity Springs to secure right-of-way for the Trinity Springs branch. The company had attempted purchase but failed. all other land cessions along the line are secured and work progresses. Shoals News.

The Leatherwood valley offers rich land water and bluegrass and would link to the Southern Indiana railroad depot improvements. Bedford and Seymour are main contenders with Bedford possibly winning.
The Elsora canning factory will open mid next week for the season. About thirty acres are contracted for and the crop looks excellent. The company aims to run six months and expects 150 000 gallons of tomato output with 69 000 gallons already sold. George E. Dopinos oversees preparations as contracts and land purchases proceed for the year.
