Aged Resident Mrs Clinton Dies at Home in City
Mrs William D Clinton an aged long time resident died at her north Spring street home on Wednesday afternoon from general debility. Born January 7 1834 in Lawrence County she lived most of her life in Den She married William D Clinton November 19 1857 and eight children were born two survive Mrs Jane Pownall and Mrs Rose Nugent She leaves one sister ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren Her husband died January 7 19 0 and since then she lived with daughter Mrs Pownall Funeral from UB Giuren with Rev H de charee to officiate Burial at Friendship Cemetery

The Elmore township trustee and advisory board awarded three contracts for completing the Elmora area high school building. Willis Brothers of Carlisle received the general contract at 12014. Wissel and Christian won the heating and plumbing bid at 89525. Reeve and Brown secured the wiring contract at 71542. A 22000 bond issue was sold to Thomas D. Sheerin & Company Indianapolis with a premium of 288.
