Miss Kate Zigler escaped serious harm when a Brash Soto driven by W R Neeremer backed past a wagon on Eaglesville road. As Zigler assisted with milk loading she fell and the front wheel passed over her, but the slow vehicle and quick stop limited injuries to shock and minor bruising. In Elnora Indiana a riot on main street left Virgil Wagoner Charley Ragle Harley Ragle and Grover Mathewson injured. Wagoner defeated with severe head injuries and a broken nose while Charley Ragle lay unconscious then regained consciousness the next day. Harley Ragle was jailed briefly. Mathewson fled town and later disappeared.

Fire destroys farmer's home near town
Fire at Andrew Armstrong's residence five miles east of the city yesterday at around 11 00 a m destroyed the building. A spark from the flue and a dry roof caused rapid spread. The Armstrongs' youngest child narrowly escaped as the roof collapsed. Loss about 1000 dollars, insurance partly covers.
