SHILOH J D Hackler of Raglesville spent Saturday night with Jas Overton and family. Grant Overton and wife were the guests of her, and Mrs D Wesler Sunday afternoon. Mrs Orville Overton and Ruby visited friends at Plainville Monday. Harley Beasley and Mr and Mrs Thomas Myes visited Home Myers and weft Sunday. The Misses Fearl and Elsie Cheet out visited friends near Bickner Sunday. Mr and Mrs Jas Overton and Orville Overton and family were the guests of Good Hope Sunday. Miss Jessie Roach and Essie Harper spent Sunday afternoon with Daisy Byrer. Curtis Overton and family spent Sunday afternoon with Mr and Mrs D W Hackle of Raglesville.
Milton Hinkle and many neighbors spent a week in the area visiting friends. Several residents hosted or visited relatives and friends from Montgomery to Odon and beyond, including McCall and Groves households, Miss Keller, and the Myers and Scott families with multiple Sunday and Thursday visits.

A new town school board was elected, and Ira Correll carved a Bedford limestone statue shipped to Portland. Old Settlers set for August 15-17.
Elmer Laughlin plans to leave for Martinsville for rheumatism treatment at the sanitarium. Preaching at Concord on Sunday June 10 at 2 30 pm. A long list of local visits and family updates from Jeliff rocks to Howesville and Epsom with births, travels, and Sunday gatherings.
Wheat along the road to Loogootee looks well with one vacant house in Clarksburg. Wm Berry of Loogootee sold his mail contract to J D Hasler who stays two more years. A Sunday School organized at the Christian church. Eaglesville troubled over a Sunday school matter. Kecksville thriving. Mr Stotts clipped a lamb wool thirteen inches long. Several young ladies out promenading last week.
John Cunningham and Geo McNabb Jacob Webster and Daniel Utterback of Blankenship visited. Mrs Karl Frank returned to Indianapolis after visiting her parents. Decoration Day guests included H W Huff Indian Springs Eunice Reimer Terre Haute and many others who enjoyed hospitality of the hamlet.
