Charles H. Hardy Dies at 43 After Illness
Charles H. Hardy a well known resident of this city died at his North Grove street home last Wednesday night at 11 o'clock from Brights disease. Born July 1874 in Washington Township he was 43. He married Alice Wright in 1887 and had four children, two of whom and his wife preceded him. Survived by Luther and Wilbur, four brothers and four sisters, he had church ties with New Bethel and the U B church. Funeral at New Bethel at 10 this morning, Rev. Ernest Roberts presiding. burial in the New Bethel cemetery.

Auto strike injures Emanuel Humerickhouse on Main Street
Emanuel Humerickhouse, a city resident, was injured Wednesday afternoon when he stepped into the street between parked cars on Main Street in front of Barkley’s store.
