Roland D B Winkelpleck a well known community figure died in Phoenix Arizona last Tuesday evening after a prolonged illness He had taught and run a normal school with Prof Shet and was active in farming stock and business He is survived by a mother two brothers J M and Fred and three sisters Martha Sene J A Overton and Flossy Funeral arrangements pending with Rev Ernest Roberts and the Masonic Order in charge

Mrs Maud Evans Rites Held After Kansas City Death
Funeral services for Mrs Maud Evans were conducted at the U B Church in Eaglesville with Rev Ernest Roberts presiding. The body arrived Friday and was taken to the Evans home near Ragiesville. She was born in Virginia and died of tuberculosis after a long illness. She married Oren Evans and leaves a daughter, Ada, along with her mother and three sisters. She joined the Baptist Church and remained a faithful member. Burial occurred in Raglesville cemetery.

Old Resident Margaret York Dies After Long Illness

Indians Please Star Heater Audience With Tribal Entertainment
Chief Eagle Feather and his wife Princess Wanita, Sioux and Chickasaw representatives, presented an engaging program at the Star heater last Monday night. Eagle Feather sang popular songs with a splendid baritone, while Wanita spoke on gratitude for opportunities provided by white neighbors. The show ended with a tribal dance and was described as clean and interesting throughout.
