Narrowly Averted Fire At Gantz’s Drug Store
A gas leak at Gantz’s drug store nearly caused a major blaze last night when a twisted pipe vent blew gas into a flame. J R Gantz and his father Daniel Gantz fought the blaze until the fire department arrived. No stock damage occurred though a new class bookcase for the high school was burned into view as a precaution.
