Death Calls Two in Burns City Area

Mrs Mary Osborne wife of John Henry Osborne near Burns City died at home last Thursday from apoplexy at 62. Survived by husband a son Hayden of Burns City a daughter Mrs Lizzie Allen of Elnora and sister in law Miss Nettie Osborne. A double funeral was held at Old Salem church. Also mentions various local notices and business ads.

Woman seeks annulment of marriage to Po Hin Po

Miss Lucile Robinson of Burns City files in Martin county circuit court for an annulment of her marriage to Po Hin Po. she alleges he had a living wife in Chicago at the time of their union in Indianapolis on October 27, 1922 and that she believed him single. She left him December 28, 1922 upon discovering theBigamy. Po Hin Po allegedly admitted the charge when confronted. The suit seeks nullification of the marriage and restoration of her maiden name.
