Mrs Jos Norman Dies After Short Illness
Mrs. Hattie Norman of Keene Ohio widow of Joseph Norman died Monday morning after childbirth complications. Born April 19 187? she was 41 at death and had joined the Methodist church young. Survived by husband three sons Procter Tilbert and Lowry her parents four brothers four sisters and many friends locally and in Ohio. Funeral services were conducted from her father’s residence with burial in the cemetery.

Steele Township Farmer Paul Golliher Dies at 71
Paul Golliher, a prominent Steele Township farmer near Plainville, died at his home after a period of illness at age 71. Born March 22, 1845 in Cook County Tennessee, he served in the Civil War before settling in Daviess County in 1879 and building a substantial, self made wealth. He married twice, leaving seven children, and was active in the Christian Church and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Plainville with burial in the Plainville Cemetery.
