Herschel William Smiley, 29, of Elmore township, died at his east Odon home Wednesday night due to tuberculosis after years of ill health and western travels seeking recovery. Survived by wife Roberta Correll, siblings, and parents Milo and (Mrs.) Smiley. Funeral at 10 a.m. from his residence, Masonic rites at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
