Everett Miller aged 24 a former principal at Epsom Bligh School died at his home after a bout with tuberculosis. He sought health in Northern Michigan but his condition worsened. Survived by his wife and one child, the funeral was held at the Christian church with burial in Fairview cemetery.

Burglary Strikes Elsora Drug Store For Watches
Unknown burglars broke the rear door glass at H. R. Stal drug store and stole about $100 in watches and jewelry. Most items belonged to Ollie Irwin who runs a watch repair shop in the front. Bloodhounds arrived late and failed to yield a definite trail across town. This is the fourth burglary at the store in three years with similar methods.

Reason Scott a well known Burns City citizen died Monday at his home from a paralytic stroke suffered on the 13th. He was born in Martin county in April 1838 and married twice. Surviving children include J P Scott Mary Page Noah Scott Julia Girdley Charles Scott and Myrtle Montgomery. He served in the Civil War with Company B 22 Indiana Regiment and was a G A R member. Funeral services were held at Burns City M E church with Rev Cappayne officiating and burial in Burns City cemetery.
