Flood claims one dead as river flood sweeps Texas camp

Searchers found the body of 12 year old Jamie Hendrick from Houston three miles downstream after a flash flood on the Pedernales River. Three other campers from the Hope Center for Youth are missing, including Jeremy Williams 11, John Clowers 12, and counselor Harold Harvey. A Houston man camping nearby is also missing. his car was located, and debris shows the river crested at 20 feet above normal.

Turner says CIA sought overthrows of Khomeini Khadafy Castro and Sandinistas

Former CIA chief Stansfield Turner says during the Carter era the agency sought covertly to topple Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini Libya's Muammar Khadafy Cuba's Fidel Castro and the Sandinista regime. Regents approve desegregation plan with free tuition offer
