Paraplegic shoots would be intruders amid Florida and Boston cases
A Florida paraplegic, Norman Jones, shot two intruders he said were robbing him for the second time in three days. In Boston, Dania landlord Kirtley Estes may face no charges after a separate shooting by a resident who said he would not be a victim again. Police said both Jones and Estes had not yet been charged by Wednesday, with clerk magistrate referrals planned. Victims Peevy and Wade, 24 and 21, were arrested for robberies tied to Jones and for a separate knifepoint heist, while Jones bought a .22 rifle following the incidents.
