Dome gets new home in White House project
In North Adams, Massachusetts, a 700-square-foot stained glass dome and two satellite domes, recreated by Cummings Studios, began a 12-hour truck voyage to Washington to be installed in the Old Executive Office Building west rotunda by Christmas. The project, valued at $200,000, involves four master craftsmen and aims to match the original color scheme with opalescent ambers yellows alabaster and soft greens.
