KOSA crash pilot suffered heart attack in 1989

Keith Elkin, 29, the pilot of the King Air crash near Midland Regional Airport on November 26, died along with eight others. An unreleased autopsy report cited hyper acute contraction band necrosis as the cause of death. The NTSB probe and civil suit follow, naming Texas Western Aviation, Beech Aircraft Corp, and Elkin’s estate.

End to Mobil suit near as Texas Manges settle MobilOil case

Executed man Williams asks for deterrence after death

Robert Wayne Williams, 31, executed in Louisiana at Angola for the 1979 A&P guard shooting, voiced a final plea that capital punishment be a deterrent and told supporters to keep fighting the death penalty.
