School reopens after fathers jailed in Nebraska protest
Fundamentalist supporters defend constitutional and biblical rights as seven fathers of Faith Christian School pupils were jailed for contempt. The school in the Faith Baptist Church basement near Louisville reopened with about 100 visiting ministers. Cass County authorities had ordered the school closed for violating state certification rules, while protesters from over a dozen states gathered outside the jail carrying anti arrest and religious liberty banners.
