The Fortnightly Club held a Domino Dance in the Clubhouse Thursday night. Numerous residents, including Mr. Sterling P. Hayward on business in Denver and Mrs. A M Preher visiting from New York, were named in the social roundup.
Under the Woman's Public School Auxiliary a Park School Auditorium talk by Dr. Thomas N Gray of East Grange warned that over sixty percent of men and many women in the country are affected by the social evil. He called for an education campaign on sexual hygiene and warned against early sexual impressions formed in children aged ten to fifteen.
Mrs. Mabel Allen Reeves Allen of Hillside Ave Nutley died Saturday night from heart trouble at age forty eight. She was married to Allen and survived by her husband and three sons. A former resident of Nutley for six years she attended Vincent J. E. Church and was an active member. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Ames conducted by Rev. Willant G. Nelson and Rev. Juniva Denton. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery Wednesday.
Cale Sela hosts a candy and cake sale at Parish House this afternoon from 2 to 4 o'clock to benefit the Woman's Auxiliary of Gence. Tea will be served.
