Martha Griffith wife of Warren G Griffith of Philadelphia and sister of Mrs James R Hay and J Roger Kingsland of Nutley died Wednesday at her Philadelphia home after years of travel seeking health. She was born at the old Kingsland homestead now Yountakah Country Club and was the youngest daughter of Richard Kingsland. Survived by husband and daughter Mrs Benjamin D Parrish of Philadelphia. Funeral services to be held this afternoon at her home.

Amzie Powleson of 441 Franklin avenue was found dead in bed Sunday night. A lifelong area resident born in 1839 in Brookdale, he was a carpenter and builder. Survived by widow, two sisters Mary Hart and Sarah Brown, two daughters Bertha Harrison and Mrs Thurston, and two sons Reymond Powleson and L J Powleson. Funeral services were held Wednesday at his home with Rev. Ghee J. Hoyt officiating and pallbearers listed. burial at Methodist Cemetery on Passaic avenue.
