Funeral of Rev William Stuart Pastors emeritus of Franklin Reformed
Funeral services for Rev. William Stuart pastor emeritus of the Franklin Reformed Church were held at the church with Rev. Dr. Denis Nortman and Rev. Harold W. Schenck officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Stuart died Sunday night at his daughter Mrs. Ernest Broadbent’s home after a heart illness. He was born in Aberdeen Scotland October 18 1889 and served Nutley from 1890 until retirement five years earlier. He married Elizabeth Rameau who died in 1874. He is survived by two daughters Mrs. William Montgomery of Prince Edward Island and Miss Sophie Stuart of Nutley.

Mrs. Steven Ball Dies In Kingsland Road Home
Mrs Steven Ball died Thursday afternoon at her daughter Mrs Martha Howe home on Kingsland road from heart failure. She was eighty six and born September 11 1830. Funeral services will be held tonight at Franklin Street Methodist Church Newark with Rev John Ogden Winner officiating. Burial at Vincent Methodist Church Cemetery. She was born Mertha Simpson and married June 17 1865. She is survived by a sister Mrs Sarah Stapleton of Morrison NL and a brother Asbury Simpson of Kingsland road.

William E. Clark, once with the Associated Press and former Star of Topeka, died Tuesday night at his sister Mrs. Harry Coughlin’s home in Weston Ohio after an eighteen month illness. He had lived in Weston for three years, moving from Wooster Ohio, and funeral services were held Friday in the Presbyterian Church of Weston.
